The Best TV Ad The Obama Campaign Has Released "Country I Love" And The Real Difference Between Obama And McCain.
Barack Obama's "Country I Love ad" is the one we all need to be emailing to our friends and talking to people about. Obama is no different from any other average Joe in this country. Obama didn't grow up in his fathers footsteps, to follow in the family tradition of entering the Navy with preferential treatment because his father was "The Admiral". Obama grew up with a single mom and 2 white grandparents that loved him taught him about good old fashioned American Values.
Obama grew up wearing jeans and sneakers with holes in them - McCain grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth and a leather jacket; never suffering the childhood humiliation of being teased by the "better kids" or the white kids or the black kids, which Obama got plenty of all three. No, not John McCain. John McCain was son of one of the greatest Navy men to cross the deck of a ship. McCain, had it not been for his fathers influence would have likely been kicked out of the Navy long before he had a chance to have his plane shot down in our nations service. Barack and Michelle Obama have only in the past few years completed paying off their student loans they took out to get through college. John McCain has never had to make the choice of whether to buy food, or pay the gas or electric bill. John McCain has never had any of his houses foreclosed on because he couldn't afford to pay the mortgage. John McCain has NEVER had to count change because he needed it. John McCain did an honorable thing following his family tradition of going into the Navy. Barack Obama did an honorable thing by working as a community organizer, rather than taking one the high paying jobs he could have taken his pick from. I ask you to think about these facts while you watch this video and when it's over I want you to ask yourself, who's walked the line you've had to walk to get where you are today? What candidates background most compares to your own. Barack Obama is an ordinary guy that's already done something extraordinary in his lifetime regardless of his future achievements or failures, having done more as an individual for his fellow Americans in the last 15 years than most us do in a lifetime. John McCain was an honorable soldier, that grew up carefree and wealthy and has spent the last 26 years of his life embroiled in the partisan politics of a Washington of the past. Think about it. There's only one man running for President that knows what the average person deals with on a day to day basis in order to make ends meet and try to get ahead in life and that person is Barack Obama. For those of you that struggle with the fact that he's black, well, I got over the fact that my first daughter liked one of the black kids in second grade, and eventually came to the conclusion that race just doesn't matter any more. So can you. I grew up in one of the most racist areas of the south. That age is over, our children deserve better than what we have given them the last 8 years and John McCain is no different than George Bush and under scrutiny could prove to be disastrously worse. It's time for us as Americans to put our petty differences aside long enough to see the light that's blinding us to the fact that we have allowed the elite and powerful of the nation to take the power from the regular guy and put it in the hands of the highest bidder. Think about it.
